The Vice-President of the International Council was maturely serious

On January 19, the international SUSTOUKA project held its fourth day of training for national experts in the capacity-building programme on sustainable management of the tourism sector.
On this day Victoria Ilyina, Vice-President of the International Coordinating Council of the UNESCO “Man and the Biosphere” (MAB) Programme for Asia and the Pacific, addressed serious topics:
Kazakhstan’s legal framework and regulations:
Relevant international laws, declarations and pledges.
Environmental laws and regulations in the RoK
Nature and Wildlife Conservation.
Legal framework and regulations in RK:
Human rights and child protection laws and regulations in RK
Laws and regulations on labor rights in the RK
Laws and regulations on occupational health and safety in the Republic of Kazakhstan

The SUSTOUKA is implemented by an international consortium led by EKOTEK (Spain) and composed of Kazakhstan Tourist Association (KTA), Kazakhstan Association of Hotels & Restaurants (KAGiR) and ECEAT (The Netherlands). The project is funded by the EU through the SWITCH-Asia Programme.
