KTA within the framework of the project “Implementation of Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) Practices and Sustainable Development Schemes in MSMEs of the Tourism Sector in Kazakhstan” (SUSTOUKA) invites to a round table “Mechanisms of collaboration between government bodies and the business community to promote SCP practices and sustainable tourism in Kazakhstan”, organized to engage government agencies and the tourism business community in promoting and implementing sustainable consumption and production (SCP) practices, discussing relevant national and regional policies and strategies for sustainable tourism development.

Objective: to involve government officials and the business community of the tourism sector in the development and implementation of SCP practices by establishing close cooperation between parties for the future development of the tourism sector in Kazakhstan.

Conference participants: European Union Delegation to Kazakhstan; national and local authorities responsible for policy making and implementation in the field of public services, economic planning and finance; national MSMEs of the tourism sector; research institutes, partners of the SUSTOUKA project.

Working language: English and Russian.

The event will take place on June 23, 2022, 9:30-14:00 (Almaty time).
