On 29th September 2020, a webinar about Travelife certification was carried out within SUSTOUKA Project. In this session, several participants of accommodations of the Tourism Sector of Kazakhstan were acquainted with Travelife sustainability certification system.
This webinar was performed online and it was part of the webinars about sustainability management and Travelife certification held within the first month of SUSTOUKA Project. More than 40 employees from accommodations of Kazakhstan received information about how to improve the sustainability performance of their establishments through an appropriate sustainability management and previous successful case studies.
In addition, an overview of the different certification criteria that composes Travelife sustainability certification system was introduced to the participants, divided into the main three parts of Travelife criteria: environment, sustainability management and people. The certification process to certificate by Travelife for accommodations was also presented to the participants.
