Representatives of EKOTEK, one of the four project partners, visited Almaty for the first time.
EKOTEK’s main areas of expertise include clean technology, environmental assessments, eco-design, water resources, energy contaminated soils and nanomaterials.
Juan Gascon and Pello Alfonso, who are the coordinator and manager of EKOTEK, were warmly welcomed into the offices of CTA and CAGiR, the other two partners in the project.
They were pleased to meet their SUSTOUKA colleagues in person, the city of Almaty, and to participate in the Roundtable.
The SUSTOUKA project is funded by the European Union under the SWITCH-Asia Programme and promotes green financing in Kazakhstan’s tourism sector.
