ON APRIL 19, THE 21ST KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION “TOURISM AND TRAVEL” STARTED ITS WORK IN TWO PAVILIONS OF THE ATAKENT EXHIBITION CENTER – KITF 2023. THE EXHIBITION WILL RUN FOR THREE DAYS, UNTIL APRIL 21
This tourism fair is attended by 258 companies from 22 countries.
On the first day of the fair the certificates “Seal of Quality” were handed to those who had succeeded in implementing the PROGRAM to improve the quality and promotion of services to accommodation facilities, tour operators, catering establishments that provide services in the field of domestic and inbound tourism.
The certificates were presented by representatives of Kazakhtourism, Department of Tourism Products Development, Deputy Head of KTA Alina Abdrashitova and Professor Shynarbek Batyrkhanov, Chairman of the Association of Tourism and Recreation Industry of Akmola Oblast.
For the second year in a row, guests of the world forum were given the opportunity to get acquainted with the stands of the SUSTOUKA international project at the KTA and KAGIR pavilion.
The SUSTOUKA project is funded by the European Union under the SWITCH-Asia program. It promotes green financing and ecologization in the tourism sector of Kazakhstan.
The SUSTOUKA project is an international consortium led by EKOTEK (Spain) together with the Kazakhstan Tourism Association (KTA), the Kazakhstan Association of Hotels and Restaurants (KAGiR) and ECEAT (Netherlands).
