On January 18, the international SUSTOUKA project held its third day of training for national experts in the capacity-building program on sustainable management of the tourism sector.
One of the invited speakers was Azamаt Mukhametzhanov, representing the Outfitter KZ travel company. The topic of his presentation was “Reduction of carbon emissions when working in tourism.
The SUSTOUKA is implemented by an international consortium led by EKOTEK (Spain) and composed of Kazakhstan Tourist Association (KTA), Kazakhstan Association of Hotels & Restaurants (KAGiR) and ECEAT (The Netherlands). The project is funded by the EU through the SWITCH-Asia Programme.
