KAGiR together with its partner @eco.network visited 5 hotels in Almaty within the SUSTOUKA project to provide consulting support on the implementation of sustainable consumption and production (SCP) practices, as well as to study the practices already implemented.
Through this visit, hotels and guesthouses that participate in the SUSTOUKA project will be able to reduce energy and water consumption and minimize the environmental impact associated with inefficient waste management.
Hotels have already implemented many things, sharing successful examples of PPM practices.
Let’s start the story with a visit to the Oikaragai Mountain Resort Hotel.
The SUSTOUKA project is funded by the European Union under the SWITCH-Asia Programme and promotes green financing in Kazakhstan’s tourism sector.
