EKOTEK is an Engineering and Consultancy Company specialized in offering to public and private companies on an international level integral and innovative solutions for the Environmental and Energy Sectors. Since its inception in the year 1998, EKOTEK have followed a strategy of international consolidation and technological innovation that has led to develop projects in more than 20 countries throughout the world: China, Mexico, Bangladesh, Brazil, UK, Italy…; as well as participate, both as coordinator and partner, in several EU funded Programmes such as LIFE-Environment, FP7, EUREKA, ASIA PRO ECO, SWITCH-Africa, etc.
EKOTEK´s mission is to contribute to the sustainable development of the environmental sector, offering integral solutions with its own technology. EKOTEK covers all stages form initial studies up to the implementation of the projects by providing effective and personalised solutions to customers´ needs. EKOTEK main areas of expertise are clean technologies, environmental evaluations, eco-design, water, energy contaminated soils and nanomaterials.

ECEAT (European Centre for Ecological and Agricultural Tourism) is the leading European organisation in the field of sustainable tourism. ECEAT is a non-governmental organisation formed by a network composed of hundreds small-scale accommodations and tourism services all over Europe. ECEAT supports sustainable touristic development that contributes to nature protection, regional development, environment protection and empowerment of the local population and promotes responsible travel every year in almost 500,000 overnights in 20 European countries.
Founded in 2007 and managed by ECEAT, Travelife is a certification system that promotes sustainability in tourism. Travelife system helps tourist agents to improve their social and environmental impacts by complying with sustainable criteria through training, management, planning and reporting. At this moment, more than 500 accommodations across the world have obtained Travelife certification.

KTA (Kazakhstan Tourism Association) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in May 1996; and unites more than 200 enterprises within its platform: travel companies (tour operators and travel agents), insurance companies, Airlines, national parks, educational institutions and professional media. This association is a professional community for the implementation of international projects, business events, scientific and marketing researches, trainings, international forums, networking, and professional standard development.
KTA works in the tourist market of Kazakhstan by representing and defending the interests of the tourism business, providing services to the members of the association; providing consulting, research and information support; and organizing training for increasing the quality of tourism services. Moreover, KTA is a member of the Coordinating Council on tourism development under the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Coordinating Council of the Forum of Entrepeneurs of Kazakhstan, the Russian Union of Travel Industry, the National Chamber of Entrepeneurs “Atameken” and the Association “Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

KAGIR (Kazakhstan Association of Hotels and Restaurants) is an industry and republican association created in 1998, which successfully operates in the hotel market of Kazakhstan, represents and protects the interests of the hotel business, expresses a consolidated opinion in the field of legislation, defends the quality of hotel services, promotes the services of the members of the association on the domestic and international tourism market, provides consulting and information support, and is engaged in researching trends and issues of raising the level of qualifications of hotel personnel. KAGIR unites hotels of international hotel chains, local hotels in Kazakhstan, hostels, guest houses, companies that supply professional equipment for HoReCa and educational institutions that train specialists for the industry.
KAGIR’s mission is to create a civilized hotel market in the Republic of Kazakhstan and it is accredited by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken” and the Committee of the Tourism Industry under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since 2016, on the basis of KAGiR, a technical committee No. 92 “Tourism and services in the field of tourism” has been created.
